By engaging the services of AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL FORWARDING, INC., you're agreeing to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. We don't just ship boxes; we manage a complex global network of transit points. Have you reviewed your specific liability coverage lately?
2. Liability and Freight Handling
Our liability for loss or damage to goods is governed by international transport treaties and local laws in Pittsburgh, PA. We're committed to safety, but we strictly limit our financial liability to standard industry rates unless premium coverage is purchased in advance. Don't leave your high-value cargo to chance.
3. Forwarding & Storage
Warehousing for freight transportation requires precise timing. Goods left beyond the agreed timeframe at our 6 Penn Center West facility will incur daily demurrage charges. We're proud to maintain a 99% security rating, but we require all clients to carry independent insurance for total peace of mind.
4. Payment Terms
Invoices are payable within 30 days of the bill of lading date. We're serious about our timelines—both on the road and in the office. Delayed payments may result in the suspension of current transit routes. Efficiency is a two-way street.
